Bio

Hola! I am so excited to be your child's preschool teacher this year! This will be my fourth year at WCA but my 23rd year teaching overall. I have taught kindergarten/ first (immersion ) , second, third, fourth and fifth  grade (Spanish) .  

  In 2015,  I moved to Kansas to be with my family.  I worked for the Greater Wichita YMCA as  an Early Learning Readiness facilitator. In that program, I worked with children, ages 0-5 and their primary caregivers to get them ready for kindergarten. Most of the children in the program were 2-4 years old. Just a few short  years later I was back in Colorado. I returned to teaching in 2021 when I joined the WCA family!

I have two children, Anastasia (26) and James (19). We also have two fur babies, Teddy and Chloe. This summer, my daughter and I traveled to South Carolina.  I am so proud to say I am the proud Mom of a US Army soldier!! We got to spend 2 days with my son who graduated from Ft Jackson, SC in June. Currently, he is in Advanced training in Texas. 

I am honored to be a part of the WCA family. I look forward to an incredible year!
