Welcome to my classroom website!

 

I am so thrilled to have your students in my class! This is my first year teaching at World Compass Academy. The past few years I've been a stay-at-home mom to my three children. I met my husband in college and we've been together ever since. We're from opposite coasts of the country. After moving around to four different states together, we landed right in the middle here in Denver area. It's the closest we've ever lived to an airport. Now we're settled in Colorado with a golden doodle to prove it!

 

I grew up in Northern Virginia in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Living near our nation's capital surrounded by all the Smithsonian Museums gave me a rich love of art and history. 

 

Reading, baking, and hiking are my favorite hobbies. I love all things Anne of Green Gables. Anne of the Island is my favorite book in the series. Megan Follows is the only "Anne" I accept into the cinematic canon. If you know, you know. My ideal morning includes watching the sunrise while sipping hot chocolate with a good book in hand.

 

Email is my primary form of communication. I am committed to replying to all my emails during school hours within two school days.
