Hola! My name is Edie Garcia and I will be your child's Kindergarten and First Grade Spanish teacher.
I'm so excited to be teaching your child the beautiful language of Spanish
in a safe, friendly and motivating environment.
My priority is YOUR CHILD to guide and support them as they conquer milestones!
We will learn together, grow as a family, connect as a team and contribute to our community
as kind and responsible citizens.
My passion is teaching young minds to love learning in the world of education, language and dance! I have been a part of World Compass Academy since 2015 and have been privileged to grow with these ambitious children, committed families, supportive staff and the Castle Rock community! I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Colorado Christian University.
I am originally from Texas where I met my Navy man of 36 years! We have two fur babies, Gus (Lab/Golden Retriever mix) and Peaches (mixed black/white cat). I not only enjoy teaching the beautiful language of Spanish but I also teach many forms of dance such as Classical ballet, various latin and country dances and dance choreagraphy for a local musical theater. Colorado has been our home for the last 17 years and we enjoy hiking, mountain biking, trail running, fishing, off roading and lots of vacays in our RV! I am looking forward to the continual growth in this thriving community and building new relationships!
